Through the Dark was a real-time animated film created for Hilltop Hoods and Google Play Music, directed by Mike Daly with visual development and art direction by Eran Hilleli.

Produced at XYZ Studios in partnership with R/GA and Exit Films, the project used WebGL and interactive camera controls to let viewers move through parallel worlds of light and dark as the story unfolded.

REAL-TIME STORYTELLINg

As Creative Director at XYZ Studios, I helped guide the animation team responsible for bringing the film into production. The visual language was designed to maintain continuity across shifting environments and perspectives as viewers dynamically controlled the camera throughout the experience.
